Quick Meatballs For Breakfast Or Snacks!

 

Quick little recipe that you can even make & freeze for whenever hunger strikes! Great for those avoiding gluten too.

Ingredients:

2 pounds sausage – try different varieties like pork, chicken, turkey. Charizo, breakfast, italian & more.
1 pound ground beef (lean)
3 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon celery seed, or powder
1 teaspoon garlic
2 tablespoons dried minced onion (add other spices to taste if you’d like)
1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese – make it low fat if you want.
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 baking sheets with olive oil, spray, whatever you prefer.

OR

Get your skewers & veggies ready for making shish kabobs on the grill.

Combine all ingredients. Mix well and roll into 1 & 1/2 inch balls. If you’re using higher fat meats – make them a bit larger.

Bake 20-25 minutes. Makes 40 to 50 meatballs at the size above.

If you make larger balls – then you may need to cook a bit longer.

Garnish with cilantro or Italian parsley & sauces if you like!
